Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain mechanically and thermally a high strength low temperature damper by providing a plurality of reinforcing rings made of high strength material on the outer periphery of the damper. CONSTITUTION:A low temperature damper 5 is made of low damper conductor and support 5A, 5B, and many outer peripheral reinforcing rings 16 are provided. The rings are mounted by shrinkage fitting or cold fitting, and the material of the rings has austenite steel on the surface of the electromagnetic compression force support and titanium alloy on the centrifugal force resistant surface. Since a plurality of reinforcing rings are disposed on the outer periphery of the damper in this manner, induced crrrent flowing axially the reinforcing ring can be substantially eliminated, and the loss can be eliminated.
