Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove previously freezing electric field produced by transfer paper separation after toner transfer from penetrating into a cleaning part by contacting a comprising a conductive thin plate grounded electrically with the surface of a photosensitive body between a transfer part and the cleaning part. CONSTITUTION:A cleaning divice 8 for a remaining toner after transfer of an electrostatic photosensitive body 1 is constituted by a cleaning part 11, an application part 12 for a drum application agent and destaticizing area 13. The cleaning part 11 and the application part 12 are prepared inside a casing 14. For destaticizing area 13, conductive blacket 28 is prepared on a guide member 29 via a plate spring 30. For a bend member 28 a for receiving toner of the bracket 28 the destaticizing means 25 comprising a thin plate contacts with the surface of the photosensitive drum 1.
