Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an ignition timing which delays angle at a prescribed inclination to a maximum delayed angle position along with the rise of revolution by using two crank angle signals and a constant current charge/ discharge circuit. CONSTITUTION:A maximum advanced angle position T2 generated by the first angle signal generator is used for an ignition timing in a revolution range under a revolution of N2 by employing the first angle signal which corresponds to the maximum advanced angle position T2 in synchronization with a revolutions of an angle and the second angle signal which corresponds to a standard position T1 which is advanced over said maximum advanced angle position T2 by a certain prescribed angle. In a range higher than said revolution N2, a capacitor charge/discharge voltage that is a discharge/charge voltage of an OP-amplifier output voltage D which repeats a certain charging/discharging referring to the second angle signal as a cycle-repeat standard can be obtained. The charging voltage output 51 gets inverted to a discharge voltage 52 when the former reached a comparator limit voltage, and since the capacitor charge/discharge currents I1 and I2 are a constant current, the angle ratio which the charge voltage 51 occupies in one revolution of an engine becomes constant, and since an advanced angle alpha becomes constant which was obtained during the time elapsed till the charge voltage 51 reaches the a limit voltage of the comparator from the time the second angle signal had set-in, an ignition timing can be obtained which uses a position T3 more delayed than the maximum advanced angle position T2 as a constant maximum dalyed anle position.
