Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain an electric dialyzer suitable for one-path type desalination by using a structure in which a bent hole is provided in a chamber frame in such a way as to form a long flow path in a concentration or desalinating chamber.
CONSTITUTION: A liquid to be treated is supplied through an inlet 3 where a spacer, etc., are present from a communication port 2 into the hole serving as a flow path of a chamber frame, in which the flow path has a bent hole formed by a projection 5 constituting the chamber frame and also increasing its length. The liquid to be treated, supplied from the inlet 3, first enters the flow path (a) and then reaches the flow paths (b) and (c) in order, during which dasalination and concentration proceed through an ion exchange membrane in liquids in adjacent chambers. The liquid to be treated passes through a communication path 6 leading to the path flow (d) belonging to the next section and then through the flow paths (d) (e), and (f) on the outlet side and reaches a communication hole 8 through an outlet 7.
