Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize an automatic loading system having a high success factor, by switching the rotational frequency of a file reel after detecting that the tip of a tape led from the file reel has reached the prescribed position of the tape path. CONSTITUTION:If a tip 5a of tape 5 led from a file reel 2 is not detected by a sensor 10a, a reference voltage switching circuit 17 is controlled via an AND circuit 16. A low level is selected for the reference voltage to be applied to a comparator 19, and thus a drive motor 22 of the reel 2 is driven in a low speed. Accordingly the tip 5a of the tape 5 is smoothly led into a tape path 11 via a tape exit 2b, a a guide 7, etc. When the tip 5a is detected by the sensor 10a, the reference voltage of the comparator 19 is changed to a high level. Thus the tape 5 is rolled out from the reel 2 to a machine reel 3.
