Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the exhaust gas heat collecting efficiency of the captioned apparatus by a method wherein large and small wind fans which are twisted differently from each other and a spiral heat transfer pipe are rotated in coaxial relationship with one another within a casing through which the exhaust gas passes.
CONSTITUTION: The heat transfer pipe 1 and the fans 3 and 4 are rotated by a rotor shaft 2. The exhaust gas passes through the casing 5 from an inlet 10 toward an outlet 11 as designeted by the arrow and the relative velocity between the exhaust gas and the heat transfer pipe 1 increases due to the rotations of the heat transfer pipe and the fans 3 and 4 so that the exhaust gas is forced to blow out toward the outlet 11 (the exhaust port) as it is agitated, whereby the contact between the heat transfer pipe 1 and the exhaust gas is accelerated and the exhaust gas is prevented from passing a short distance.
