Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The metallic plate or a heat adsorbing structure on which the blackened antimony is deposited is put into a vacuum depositing vessel after the surface of the meatllic plate or the heat adsorbing structure is cleaned of fat and dirt and is dried and the vacuum depositing vessel is operated so that antimony included in a tungesten heating body as an evaporation source is heated and evaporated in a vacuum range of around 5W0.05mm Hg. As a result, a covering film of the blackened antimony of proper grain size is obtained on the surface of the metallic plate with the film having a heat adsorbing rate higher than two times the conventional metallic plate covered with a film of carbon black.
