Abstract

PURPOSE: A vulcanizable rubber composition preventing insoluble sulfur in a vulcanizing agent from becoming soluble, suppressing blooming phenomena, obtained by blending a rubber base with a thiazole type or thiuram type vulcanization accelerator.
CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. Rubber base of natural rubber or synthetic rubber is blended with 3W10pts.wt. insoluble sulfur and 0.05W5pts.wt. one or a blend of thiazole type vulcanization accelerator, preferably 2-mercaptobenzothiazole, etc. and thiuram type vulcanization accelerator, preferably tetramethylthiuram monosulfide, etc. or its blend with a common vulcanization accelerator (preferably N,N- dicyclohexyl-2-benzothiazolyl-sulfenamide). The amount of the thiazole type and thiuram type vulcanization accelerators is 2W50wt% based on total vulcanization accelerators.
