PURPOSE: A rubber composition useful as a rim cushioning having improved processing characteristics, high hardness and improved cracking resistance after vulcanization, obtained by adding a specific polybutadiene to rubber.
CONSTITUTION: Rubber is blended with ≥30wt% based on total rubber component of a polybutadiene having 25W35 Mooney viscosity (ML1+4, 100°C) and 30W40 centipoise viscosity in 5wt% toluene solution (at 25°C). A common filler, vulcanizing agent, etc. can be added to the rubber.
