In this case, the melt drops into the member 9, and while its temp. is being lowered by heat radiation, the melt flows from the part 3 into the part 2, but since the member 9 is disposed in the bottom part of the part 3 where the temp. is highest, said part does not react with the melt or melts on account of high temps. and therefore the life of the mold 1 is prolonged.
