Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure an optimum focus state at all time and thus always obtain a high-contrast picture, by installing a circuit that supplies a control signal varying according to the contents of picture to a focus voltage setting means of a CRT. CONSTITUTION:The focus voltage is supplied to the CRT of a TV picture receiver from a focus terminal 3 of a focus voltage control circuit. A circuit consisting of a transistor (TR)5 which amplifies the signal sent from a video signal amplifying circuit 7 plus a transformer 4 is provided to the said control circuit. Then the output amplified by this circuit is applied to the terminal 3 via a capacitor 10. The focus voltage is applied toward the reducing direction with a bright screen according to the contents of picture. Thus the focus voltage is always controlled automatically at an optimum level always to obtain a high-contrast picture.
