Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration in video by regulating the magnetization phase of a separate magnet for constituting the rotor of a driving motor directly, and the fitting phase of a detection member for detecting the phase of a rotary head in such a way that they have constant position relation invariably. CONSTITUTION:Any drum unit has constant fitting phases with the PG magnets 21 and 22 of a rotor magnet 17, and each unit has the same phase of irregularity of the generated torque of a direct driving cylinder motor. Namely, when a rotor magnet 17 is fitted, the phases with the PG magnets 21 and 22 are only specified to prevent deterioration in compatible video of a magnetic recording and reproducing device due to a difference in generated torque irregularity phase.
