Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the emission drivability of the engine by a method wherein either one of the revolving number or crank angle of the internal-combustion engine is detected repeatedly to determined the interval of the A/D conversion of a cotrol variable by the detected value and a number of cylinders.
CONSTITUTION: Respective signals from a suction pipe pressure senser 2, a revolving angle senser 7, a throttle senser 10, a cooling water temperature senser 11 and a suction air temperature senser 12 are inputted into a microcomputer 8 to calculate the magnitude and the timing of a control signal for controlling the engine. The interval of an analog digital conversion is determined by a formula 1.2×105(2n-1)/m×n (milisecond), where (m) is the number of cylinders, N is the revolving number (rpm) of the internal-combustion engine and (n) is an optional positive integer. According to this method, a precise control of the internal- combustion engine may be permitted.
