Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare yeast in high efficiency, by adding cytokinins to the cultivation medium of yeast, thereby promoting the proliferation of the microbial cells.
CONSTITUTION: Cytokinins such as 6-benzylaminopurine, 6-furfurylaminopurine, etc. are added to the cultivation medium of yeast at a final concentration of 0.5W1.5ppm, preferably 1W4ppm, and yeasts, e.g. belonging to Saccharomyces genus, Hansenula genus, Candida genus, etc. are cultured in the medium.
