Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the reading error of a data in an easy and assured way, by comparing at least >=1 set of analog information among the read-out data bit trains with the reference value and deciding the validity or invalidity of the bit train signal. CONSTITUTION:The level absolute value of the analog information in the reproduced data bit train that passes through a magnetic-electric converting part 31 and the absolute value of the bit interval are compared with the reference value respectively through a level deciding part 35 and a bit interval deciding part 36. As a result, the validity or invalidity is decided for the reproduced bit train. The parts 35 and 36 deliver the high-level invalid signals in the invalid mode in the form of the error signals. Then an AND gate 38 is controlled to cut off the output of the reproduced signal corresponding to the invalid bit train signal. As a result, no fault data is reproduced and delivered, and accordingly the reading error of the data is assuredly avoided although no parity check is carried out.
