Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent leakage of the liquid by a method wherein a piston rod to be secured to a piston sliding in a cylinder in which the liquid is sealed is penetrated into the piston and the magnetic fluid is utilized to a sliding part for a movable board floating on the surface of the liquid. CONSTITUTION:The liquid 2 is sealed in the cylinder 1 and the piston 3 formed by a non-magnetic material is accommodated therein while the piston rod 7 formed by a strong magnetic material is fitted into and secured to the piston 3 which is pushed upwardly by a spring 8. On the other hand, the movable board 10 is floated movably into up-and-down between a cylinder cap 9 and the liquid 2. This movable board 10 is a planar magnet and the inside thereof is magnetized into N pole while the outside thereof is magnetized into S pole. The magnetic fluid 11a, 11b, 11c are held by the magnetic force of the movable board 10. According to this method, an air chamber 12 may be kept as a perfectly sealed structure.
