Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily execute an actual load test even in case of only one set of variable speed driving device to be tested, by using a DC rotary machine having capacity corresponding to a machine to be tested, and its field current control- ling device. CONSTITUTION:In case when a field current of a field winding 17 is small, output voltage of a power rectifier 21 is larger than counter electromotive voltage of a DC rotary machine 11, the rotary machine execute power running as a motor, and when the field current becomes a suitably larg value, counter electromotive voltage of the rotary machine 11 becomes larger than output voltage of the power rectifier 21, and the rotary machine 11 is operated as a generator. In this case, output power of the DC machine 11 being generator flows into an AC rotary machine 24 through a DC circuit of a variable speed driving device 2, and as a result, a load can be put on the rotary machine 24. Accordingly, when a field current controlling circuit 16 is controlled by a current detecting signal from a shunt 13, the quantity of a load can be adjusted optionally.
