Abstract

PURPOSE:To deliver a copying paper to a collator rapidly and securely with simple constitution, by controlling start of a high speed conveying route, and conveying the copying paper at high speed after it is introduced into a guide route longer than the paper length, moved by gravity, and stopped. CONSTITUTION:A copying paper 22 is released from a copying machine 20 with conveying rollers 21 along guide plates 26, 27 longer than the paper 22, and slides down by gravity on perfectly leaving the rollers 21. When the forward end of the paper 22 arrives at high speed conveying rollers 24, 25 and srops with a right posture, and a given timelength lapses from detection of its end made by a light emitting diode 41 and a photodetector 42, the rollers 42, 45 are driven through a timer, thus permitting the paper 22 to be conveyed to and srored in a bin opposite to a collator, and consequently, delivery of the paper 22 to the collator to be effected rapidly and exactly with simple constitution.
