Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the efficiency of a compressor from deteriorating by contituting so that the compressed gas from a front impeller mixes with the additional supply gas from the second suction port after they have flown into a return guide vane by means of a partition wall inside a casing. CONSTITUTION:The compressed gas from a front impeller 3a mixes with the additional supply gas from the second suction port 6 after they have flown into a return guide vane 9 by means of a partition wall 11 provided inside a casing 1. Therefore, the gas compressed by the front impeller 3a flows into the return guide vane 9 at an angle equal to the disigned value suffering no influence from outside. The gas additionally supplied from outside of the casing 1 flows into the middle of the return guide vane 9 as shown in the figure, and it mixes with the gas compressed by the front impeller 3a after they have flown into the return guide vane 9, therefore, it gives no adverse effect to the gas from the front impeller 3a, and the mixed gases flow into the succeeding impeller efficiently as shown by the design data.
