Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the woof reproducing range and at the same time to suppress the increase of the Q value which is due to the feedback, by integrating the output of an HPF by an integrator and then applying the outputs of the HPF and the integrator to the input of one side of a comparator. CONSTITUTION:The output Vo is applied to an HPF2, and the HPF2 has the same characteristics as a loudspeaker connected to an amplifier 1. The output of the HPF2 is applied to an integrator 4, and at the same time the outputs of the HPF2 and the integrator 4 are applied to the input of one side of a comparator 3 to be compared with the input Vi of the amplifier 1 which is applied to the other input of the comparator 3. The output of comparison of the comparator 3 is fed back to the amplifier 1. In such constitution, the Q value is kept substantially equal to the Q value of the speaker itself regardless of an increment of the feedback degree by selecting a proper ratio between the low band resonance frequency and the output of the integrator. As a result, the woof reproducing range is increased, and at the same time the increment of the Q value which is due to the feedback can be reduced.
