Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent elements from destruction by a method wherein elements are sealed by means of a flexible porous sheet impregnated with a fluid adhesive agent. CONSTITUTION:In the sealing process of a solar battery panel and the like, adhesive is applied to the surface of a transparent substrate 1, and the adhesive layer is mounted with devices 4 and 5. The devices 4 and 5 are then covered with a liquid adhesive impregnate flexible, porous sheet 7 and the sheet 7 is mounted with a liner 9. The lamination is then subjected to compression which causes adhesive in the sheet 7 to ooze out to fill the vacancies around the devices 4 and 5. The adhesive is left to solidify, with the liner 9 kept under preesure so that the devices 4 and 5 as well as the liner 9 are fixed securely. Concentration of strain on the devices and resultant destruction thereof are privented by using a flexible, porous sheet to fix the devices.
