Abstract
PURPOSE:To attract copying paper electrostatically to a conveyor belt and heat said paper efficiently while preventing its floating by providing corotrons for charging and destaticizing in the upper stream and down stream positions of the ladder patterns of said belt which conveys the copying paper. CONSTITUTION:A microstrip line 1 is constituted of a dielectric base plate 2, a central conductor 3, and a grounding palte 4. A ladder pattern 6 is formed to the conductor 3. A DC corotron 14 for charging is disposed on the upper stream side of a conveyor belt 10 for conveyance of copying paper 19 and an AC corotron 16 for destaticizing on the down stream side, with the pattern 6 in- between. The paper 19 is attracted electrostatically to the belt 10 by the corotron 14 and is heated and fixed by the leakage radio waves of microwaves supplied to the line 1. Since it is destaticized by the Corotron 16, it is easily stripped. Therefore, the paper is electrostatically attracted and heated satisfactorily while its floating is prevented.
