Abstract
PURPOSE:To load photographic paper automatically in a printing position regardless of an aperture by providing the photographic paper with a paper guide moving integrally with a carriage before the leading end thereof passes through the aperture. CONSTITUTION:The leading end of photographic paper P supplied by rollers forms an easel mask, and when it is carried into the opening part by an upper guiding plate 20 provided with an aperture for printing and a lower guiding plate 21, this is detected with SW1. Then, a carriage moves, and a paper guide 27 moves in the same direction as the conveying direction of the paper P along the plate 20. When the leading end of the paper P passes the aperture of the plate 20, the guide 27 resets to the initial position together with the carriage. Therefore, the leading end of the paper P is conveyed without any influence of the aperture and the bending, course change, etc. of the paper P by the aperture are obviated. Even the photographic paper of a width narrower than the width of the aperture is loaded automatically and surely in the printing position.
