Abstract
PURPOSE:To store the output given from a central processor at a slave station and at the same time transmitting the data of the slave stations to the central processor, by securing a loop-shape connection between a central processor and plural slave stations. CONSTITUTION:A central processor 1 is connected in a loop shape with the slave stations 4(1), 4(2)-4(n) which are set at n-units of plant input/output points via the optical fibers 7(1), 7(2)-7(n). The processor 1 transmits at the first stage of a frame period a pulse train comprising a pulse of a large duration and high level and a pulse having a low level and showing 1 or 0 according to the duration of the pulse. The station 4(1) reduces the level of the first pulse of a high level and a large duration and the discriminates the duration of the subsequent pulse which is allotted to own station to store 1 or 0. At the same time, the station 4(1) sets a high level and decides the duration of the pulse in accordance with the data on the own station and transmits the subsequent pulses as they are. The following slave station changes a high level to a low level of the pulse and transmits and receives the data by the following pulse of the own station to set the final pulse of the own pulse at a high level.
