Abstract
PURPOSE:To disassemble flasks easily in a short time without moving molds by investing metallic materials to be used as hangers into a cast product, and removing the cast product from the mold by means of said hangers after the completion of casting. CONSTITUTION:A mold 1 is mounted onto a table 2 of a casting machine by means of fastening structures 3 such as bolts and nuts, and a top plate 4 having a casting port 4a at the center is mounted into the opening part in the upper part of the mold by means of set pins 5 for locking through insertion holes 1a. Fittings 6 for hangers are mounted on the rear side of the plate 4 by burying arc parts 6a at the center in the sand of molding sand 7, and exposing both end parts 6b, 6b into the recesses 7a, 7a of the sand 7. In this state, the table 2 is rotated, and molten metal is cast through the port 4a, whereby a cast product 8 is obtained. The end parts 6b of the fittings 6 are invested by the investing parts 8a formed of the molten metal filled in the recesses 7a of the sand 7, whereby the fittings 6 are detained to the product 8.
