Abstract
PURPOSE:To raise the set voltage value of an operational amplifier which detects an output overvoltage in response to a load current by providing an adder which adds a voltage signal in response to an overvoltage set value at no load time. CONSTITUTION:An operational amplifier 9c which operates as an adder adds a voltage signal V2 responsive to a load current to the set overvoltage value V1 of an operational amplifier 9b at no load time, and the added output V0 is given as a set voltage value of the operational amplifier 9b. Even when the output voltage of the inverter 1 is, accordingly, raised to correct the impedance voltage drop of a transmission line to a load end, the set voltage value of the amplifier 9b which detects the output overvoltage of an inverter 1 rises in response to the correction of the output voltage, and an optimum overvoltage set can be obtained irrespective of a distance between a power source and a load.
