Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the lifetime of a bearing in a motor by forming the non- output side end face of a rotor in a planar state, and supporting the non-output side end by a plane dynamic pressure bearing filled with a lubricating oil, thereby allowing the end face of a rotational shaft to be supported in non-contact state with the bearing at the rotating time. CONSTITUTION:The end face of the non-output side of a rotor shaft 12 is formed in a planar shape forming a right angle with respect to the axial direction. This shaft is supported by a plane dynamic pressure bearing 14 in which a lubricating oil 18 such as an oil or a grease is filled. A spiral groove 14a is, for example, formed on the bearing 14, and when the shaft 13 is rotated, an upward buoyancy F is generated. In this manner, since the end face 12a of the rotor shaft and the bearing 14 are rotated without contact, no wear occurs, thereby increasing the lifetime of the bearing.
