Abstract
PURPOSE:To contrive to improve the heat collecting efficiency of the collector by a structure wherein a main water pipe and a main drain pipe of the heat collector are oppositely provided apart at a long distance from each other and slightly inclined transmitting pipes connect the main water pipe to the main drain pipe. CONSTITUTION:The main water pipe 2 and the main drain pipe 3, both of which are respectively connected to a hot water storage tank (not shown), are provided at both ends of a heat collecting plate 11 composed of a piece of metal fin and as well as a plurality of the transmitting pipes horizontally arranged and jointed on the heat collecting plate 11 with fixed separation distance and slight rising gradient of substantially more than one degree toward the direction of the flow of heattransmitting fluid connect said pair of main pipes 2 and 3. After that, the heat collecting plate 11 is vertically or slantly fixed facing toward the sun. Owing to the structure as described above, the heat collecting efficiency of the collector can be improved and as well as the drainage of water for the repair of the collector and for freezing proofing can be facilitated by the inclined arrangement of the conduction pipes.
