Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need to track the change of the solar angle of elevation due to the change of the time of the year by a method wherein heat transfer fluid is flowed only in the tube located at the position of a lens of a reflector, to which sunbeams are condensing just at the moment. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of heat collecting tubes 4 are so arranged at the light condensing positions in a case 6 equipped with a convex lens (Fresnel lens) 5 that the sunbeams at the vernal or autumnal equinox is condensed to the central tube 4 as indicated with the solid lines with an arrow 1; those at the summer solistice to the tube 4'' as indicated with the dot lines with an arrow 3 and those at the winter solistice to the tube 4' as indicated with the double dot and dash lines with an arrow 2. A valve 15 is provided in a tube 11 composing of the heat collecting tube 4 and coupled through gears 13 and 14 with a heat sensitive rod 12 arranged on the upper surface of the tube 11. Because the valve 15 is open of closed by the expansion and contraction of the heat sensitive rod 12, only the valve 15 of the tube 4 located at the position, to which the sunbeams are condensing just at the moment, is open. The condensing of sunbeams with a reflector instead of with the lens 5 may be also allowed.
