Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve electric connection between a terminal lead and a commutator by forming a convex on one of the surfaces of a commutator terminal and a commutator end facing each other, and by clamping a terminal lead with a commutator terminal and a commutator end. CONSTITUTION:A commutator terminal 5 at a distributing side of an iron core 2 of a commutator 4 corresponds to a commutator bar 8 of the commutator 4 in bar number. It is formed with the commutator bar in a body projected to the commutator bar 8 in an L-shape. A plurality of knurling convexes are formed in a circumferential direction at the commutator end opposite to the terminal 5. A terminal lead 6 of a winding 3 is clamped to the terminal 5. It is encroached upon the convex 7 formed at the end of the commutator bar 8 from the terminal 5 with ultra-sonic welding. An encapsulated insulation of the terminal lead 6 is removed. The terminal lead 6 is connected to the commutator 4 electrically and mechanically. This prevents faulty electric conductivity easily between the terminal lead and the commutator.
