PURPOSE:To lessen the used amount of a cable while making a signal system clear by using only one master station for many signal transmitters which transmit and receive signals, and by connecting several transmitters to each subordinate station via one cable. CONSTITUTION:For one master signal transmission unit 1, several signal transmitter units 2 are arranged and connected together via one cable; and the subordinate units 2 are connected mutually. Consequently, field boards as subordinate units 2 are decentralized for every function of a process, and controlled by one master unit 1. Then, a plurality of the units are used to connect the subordinate units 2 to the master units 1 via cables 5, and master units 1 are connected to a central monitoring controller 5 together, thereby further increasing the range of a control system.
