Abstract
PURPOSE: A ground coagulant of a short setting time, prepd. by adding magnesium carbonate to a cement/clay/water-base ground coagulant.
CONSTITUTION: About 50W400pts.wt. clay, about 1W20pts.wt. magnesium carbonate and about 100W500pts.wt. water are added to 100pts.wt. cement. The cement to be used is portland cement, silica cement, blast furnace cement, blyash cement, etc. The clay includes a clay mineral such as kaolin, montmorillonite, mica, talc, pyrophyllite or serpentine. In addition to said components, it is possible to add a polycyclic sulfonate, a quick curing agent, a retarder, etc. Said ground coagulant is applied to strengthen weak ground and to prevent water leakage in ground by injecting into the ground and cured.
