Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a welding rod which is excellent in erosion resistance and is hard to be weld-cracked by low yield strength being equivalent to or less than 18-8 stainless steel, by specifying Mn of Ni-Cr steel and adding Mo, Nb and Co. CONSTITUTION:A welding rod is formed by containing 1 kind of more of <=0.2C, <=2 Si, 10-20 Cr, 0.5-10.2 Ni, <=20 Mn, <=2 Mo, 0.01-0.1 Nb and 0.5-5 Co, by wt%, respectively, and consisting of Fe substantially as the remainder. In this case, Mn elevates erosion resistance, but in case of <=2%, its effect is insufficient, and in case of exceeding the upper limit, its molten metal flowing property becomes worse. Mo elevates erosion resistance and corrosion resistance, but in case of exceeding the upper limit, toughness is harmed. Nb fines crystal grains having a depositing property and elevates erosion resistance, therefore, it is desirable to be the lower limit or above, and in case of excess, ferrite phase is generated in a deposited layer, and the erosion resistance is deteriorated. Co elevates erosion resistance, therefore, it is desirable to be the lower limit or above, and its effect is not elevated in case of a large quantity and its cost is raised, and its quantity is controlled to the upper limit or below.
