Abstract

PURPOSE:To elevate the reliability eliminating erroneous writing of data by supplying a power to a circuit with the control of power source circuit under a control circuit only when data are written into a non-volatile memory device and read out therefrom. CONSTITUTION:When a vehicle runs, with a switch 2 closed, a power is supplied to a circuit from a battery 1. A car speed signal from a car speed generator 4 is inputted into a control circuit 5 and an integrated range is calculated and stored in a semiconductor non-volatile memory device 3 while indicated on a display circuit 6. When a switch 2 is opened, integrated running range is stored in the memory device 3. When the switch 2 is closed, data are read, set into a register of the control circuit 5, and inputted into a display circuit. The control circuit 5 controls a controlling power source circuit 7 so that a power is supplied to a circuit only when the data are read from the memory device 3 and written thereinto. This eliminates erroneous writing of data elevating the reliability.
