Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent optical fibers from being damaged and to simplify connection working at terminal parts by accomodating the optical fiber in grooves of a grooved line consisting of aluminium arroy having the strength equivalent to that of a hard aluminium line and >=4% elongation. CONSTITUTION:Optical fibers 5 are accomodated in grooves 4 of a grooved line 3 arranged in the center of a stranded wire formed by twisting strands 2 consisting of Al or Al arroy. The grooved line 3 is made of Al arroy such as JIS5052 and 5056 which has the strength equivalent to that of a hard Al wire or more >=4% elengation. Since the grooved line 3 has large durability for elongation due to bending, tension and the change of temperature, the optical fiber is prevented from being damaged and working such as connection at terminals is simplified.
