Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the start of a DC motor smooth, by arranging a valve controllable in accordance with the load of the DC motor that drives a compressor in a by-pass pipe installed between the refrigerant suction and discharge sides. CONSTITUTION:When a start signal 18 is selected to a control unit side 17, the control unit 17 sends the start signal to a DC motor 16 as well as when the DC motor is started, a compressure 1 gets driven and the refrigerant is compressed and sent to the cooling cycle side of a condenser side 3, from a discharge side 2. From delivery of the start signal, a speed signal 19 for the DC motor 16 after the lapse of a set time is detected and when it is smaller than a given level, a solenoid valve 11 is to be opened whereby the amount of refrigerant being cycled inside the compressor 1 lessens.
