Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide comfortable ventilation by providing a movable stopper for regulating the opening of a defroster door of an air conditioner for a vehicle on said door and interlocking said stopper with a button for selecting a heat blow-off port to equalize air flow blown off from the heat blow-off port and defroster blow-off port. CONSTITUTION:When both blow-offs of a defroster and heat floor are selected and a floor control button is turned on, an engaging piece 33 of a movable stopper 31 is moved to a predetermined position as an operating lever 32a of an actuator is moved, so that a link piece 27 operated according to the turnig-on of the defroster control button abuts against the engaging piece 33 of the movable stopper 31 to limit the pivoting of the link piece 27 and regulate the opening of a defroster door 8. Thus, the opening of the defroster door 8 is throttled and temperature conditioned air in a heater unit H is prevented from blowing to the defroster blow-off port 5 side more than the necessary.
