Abstract
PURPOSE:To form an electrostatic latent image with high contrast and resolution, by effectively using the carrier mobile function of a specific polarity of a photoconductive material having photoelectric effect excellent to the specific polarity obtained from a comparatively simple method. CONSTITUTION:In an electrophotographic photoreceptor 11, a transparent insulation layer 13 and a photoconductive layer 14 are sequentially laminated on a transparent conductive support 12 and charge generating layers 16 and 17 are respectively provided for both sides of a charge moving layer 15 of a specific polarity and this photoconductive layer 14. To the photoreceptor with the constitution like this, a process of primary image exposure for simultaneous or sequential primary charge, a secondary image exposure process inverting the primary image, a secondary charge simultaneous or sequential secondary image exposure process of the reverse polarity as the primary charge, and the primary image exposure process are sequentially made, and the image exposure is made by using the carrier mobile function of the specific polarity of the photoconductive layer for the exposure of image, allowing to form the electrostatic latent image between the transparent insulation layers.
