Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the structure and to improve the quality of the printed matter by a method wherein a swing driving cam is provided on a cam shaft which is connected to an impression cylinder through helical gears. CONSTITUTION:The rotation of a brancket cyliner 5 is transmitted to the impression cylinder 6 through helical gears 23, 24, then, to the cam shaft 32 through helical gears 24, 33. Further, the rotation of the impression cylinder 6 is transmitted to a swing shaft 25 also through gears 27, 28. When a swing cam 34 rotates by rotation of each shaft, cam levers 37, 35 press cam followers 36, 38 on the cam surface and rock. Therefore, swing lever 39 rockes and the finger 31 on a finger shaft 30 reciprocates between a feed board and the impression cylinder 6. In this forward motion the sheet on the feed board is gripped and transferred by the finger 31, then gripped by the finger on the impression board 6. Since the swing shaft 25 makes are eccentric rotation every swing of a swing arm 29, the finger 31 returns from the tip part of the feed board to the feed board side through the upper part in the return from the impression cylinder 6.
