Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the uneven developing and make a quick processing possible, by charging air to generate bubbles in a developer so that bubbles are not generated on the surface of the developer in the development start side of a developing part and agitating the developer. CONSTITUTION:A constant quantity of the developer in a tank 4 is always supplied to a developing part 1 through pipes 6 and 7, a heater 2, and a pipe 8 by a pump 3. A photographic film 9 advances in a U shape in the developing part. An air blast conduit 55 is provided in the developing part 1 and is connected to an air supply pump 5 through a pipe 56, and the surface of the liquid in the conduit 55 is depressed by air, and bubbles are generated in the developer in a liquid passage and rise in the passage in the developer discharge side while agitating the developer. Bubbles generated from the lower end of the air blast conduit 55 into passages 23 and 24 are controlled not to go to the development start side (the developer supply side) of the film 9.
