Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid the effect of external magnetic field by forming a unitary body by a photoelectric pickup, an electronic circuit, and a printed board, and enclosing said printed board on a base made of synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:A rotary plate 22 rotates with a shaft 16 of a distributor of an internal combustion engine which is rotated in synchronization with an output shaft of said internal combustion engine as a unitary body. The photoelectric pickup 46 senses the variation in amount of light passing windows 22A and 22B. The electronic circuit processes the output signal from said electronic pickup 46. Said electronic circuit is mounted on the printed board 22. The photoelectric pickup 46 is incorporated on the printed board 44 to form a unitary body. Said unitary assembled body is enclosed in the base 40 made of synthetic resin, and provided in a housing 12 constituting the distributor.
