Abstract

CONSTITUTION:Valinomycin is dissolved in dioctyl sebacate, homogeneously mixed in a tetrahydrofuran solution of polyvinyl chloride and the tetrahydrofuran is evaporated to obtain an ion-responsive film 4. This film is a potassium ion- responsive film. Silver is used as a potential detecting lead wire 8 and cadmium amalgam as a material 11 with an ionic and/or electronic conductivity.
