Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a slide valve from being floated, prevent leakage, and assure lubrication and cooling on a sliding face by contriving the distribution of a sealing liquid to the sliding face between a casing and U-shaped grooves on the slide valve. CONSTITUTION:Recessed grooves 44, 45, 47 in the peripheral direction of a U- shaped groove 18 and a pair of straight recessed grooves 41, 42, 43 in parallel with the center line of a slide valve 21 are carved on the discharge side end section of the sliding face of the slide valve 21, and said recessed grooves are connected to a feed passage 32 of a sealing liquid of a casing 1, then the sealing liquid is uniformly distributed to above mentioned straight recessed grooves 41, 42, 43. As the slide valve 21 is slided from the maximum discharge position to the minimum discharge position, the pressure working point of the sealing liquid from the feed passage of the casing 1 is moved from above mentioned straight recessed grooves 41-43 to the suction side, thereby the slide valve 21 is prevented from being floated, leakage is prevented, and lubrication and cooling can be assured.
