Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily adjust gaps between low and high speed cams and rocker arms, by mutually turnably connecting a pair of the rocker arms and equipping each adjusting member to end parts at the root part side of the arms. CONSTITUTION:A valve 1 in the intake exhaust device of an engine is driven by low and high speed at least a pair of cams 2, 3 through a pair of rocker arms 4, 5. Each arm 4, 5 is formed vertically movable in supporting points 8, 9 at each root part, and each supporting point 8, 9 can be vertically moved by turning motion of each control cam 14, 15 on a cam shaft 13, in this way, each arm 4, 5 is contituted to be selectively set to an operating position for the cams 2, 3. In this case, point end parts of the arms 4, 5 are mutually turnably connected by a lateral pin 10, and each supporting point 8 is constituted position adjustable by nut-shaped adjusting members 16, 17.
