Abstract

CONSTITUTION: An FRP-made bowl-shaped end plate 2, preformed by hand lay- up or compression, is inserted into one end of a cylindrical metal die 1 opened at its opposite ends, in a manner such that there is s slight space between the tapered thick periphery 2a of the end plate 2 and the inner wall of the metal die 1. Thereafter, a matlike reinforcing fibrous material 3 is lapped on the inner surface of the cylindrical metal die 1. Another end plate 2 provided with a through hole 4a at its central part is then inserted into the other end of the cylindrical metal die 1. While the cylindrical metal die 1 is rotated at a high speed (800W1,200rpm), curing agent-compounded setting liquidus resin 6 is poured through a pipe inserted into the through hole 4a. The resin is cured by heat and taken out after cooled.
