Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a means, through which a large number of small holes are bored at a time and which keeps the size of the small holes and the accuracy of the arrangement of a large number of wire rods for an electrode, by a method wherein the wire rods are arranged into the block of wax at necessary intervals, projected only by length required and held and fixed. CONSTITUTION:The electrode 12 for electrospark machining is formed in such a manner that a large number of the wire rods 11 for the electrode are disposed into the disk 10 of wax at necessary intervals, and projected only by length required and held and fixed. Consequently, a large number of the small holes can be bored at a time through electrical discharge machining at once, and the machining has extremely excellent machining property. Since no accuracy lowers due to the abrasion of the wire rods through electrospark machining at once, the size of a large number of the small holes and the accuracy of the arrangement can be improved, and the small holes can precisely be machined. Accordingly, when the electrode is used for the boring machining of a hole such as the spinning hole of a spinneret, the spinneret having excellent size of the spinning hole and accuracy of arrangement can simply be mass-produced.
