Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain concentrated water having desired concentration, by controlling the quantity of discharge from a concentrated liquid discharge hole by adjusting a space against its opposed opening adjusting disk, and varying the centrifugal separation time of a solid and liquid mixture in the bowl.
CONSTITUTION: On the solid matter discharge side of a stirring chamber 7, an end plate 9 having a concentrated liquid discharge hole 9a is provided, and on its outside, an opening adjusting disk 11 being movable forward and backward in the direction of the end plate is watertightly installed to a rotary shaft 10 of a bowl 1 and is rotated concentrically. The disk 11 is fitted into a moving collor 12, and the tip of a connecting lever 12a of the collar is connected to a rod 13a of a disk moving cylinder 13 installed to a solid matter catching case 6, therefore, the disk is moved by the moving operation of the rod 18a, and a space (t) is generated against the end plate 9. The opening of the space (t) can be adjusted with high accuracy, therefore, when desired concentration is high, (t) is made narrow, the quantity of discharge from 9a is reduced, the staying time of a solid and liquid mixture in the bowl 1 is extended, and in case of low concentration, (t) is made wide, and the staying time is reduced.
