Abstract
PURPOSE: To decrease fuel consumption considerably and to prevent the decrease in the drying capacity of an indirect type dryer by dehumidifying the waste gas generated from said dryer thoroughly to decrease its humidity and recycling this gas to the dryer.
CONSTITUTION: The waste gas generated in an indirect type dryer 1 is removed of dust in a cyclone 2, and is sucked by a blower 3 into a heater 4. The broths A fed through a pipe 5 into the heater 4 are heated by the condensation heat of the moisture in the waste gas and the sensible heat of said gas, and the moisture is vacuum-evaporated by an evaporator 6; at the same time, the moisture in the waste gas is condensed. The waste gas from the heater 4 is fed into a condenser 8 or a scrubbing tower, where it is further dehumidified to low humidity, after which it is sucked by a blower 9 into the waste heat heater 11 of a boiler 10, by which it is reheated. The reheated gas is returned through a circulation pipe 12 into the dryer 1.
