Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase output power of an engine and easily start a vehicle at start operation of the vehicle, by providing an idle up switch, operated interlocking to a clutch pedal, and an idle up switch, detecting a position of low gear shift in a speed changer. CONSTITUTION:An internal combustion engine comprises a carburetor throttle valve 3, manually operaed speed changer 4, clutch pedal 5 and electronic control unit 6. The clutch pedal 5 is depressed to shift the speed changer 4 to a low position, when the clutch pedal 5 begins to be released, the throttle valve 3 is kept holding at a certain opening 3a for a certain time by idle up switches 25, 26 and the electronic control unit 6. In this way, speed of the engine is increased, and its output torque is increased, then a vehicle can be started easily without causing an engine stall.
