Abstract

PURPOSE:To operate an engine at a stable speed for its intake air at a low flow quantity, by providing a frequency divider, that divides an output pulse of an air flow sensor, and a frequency discriminator, that controls dividing ratio of the divider. CONSTITUTION:An air flow sensor 2 detects an intake air quantity 1 by a Karman vortex stream to feed an output pulse 3 to a divider 8 and frequency discriminator 9. Dividing ratio of the divider 8 and pulse width of output of a monomultivibrator 4 are controlled by output of the frequency discriminator 9. For the output pulse 3 at a low frequency, an output pulse of the divider 8 is divided to 1/1 and amplified by a driver 6 to drive an injection valve 7. While at a high frequency of the output pulse 3, the divider 8 divides the pulse to 1/4. In this way, for the intake air quantity even if more or less, an engine can be operated at a stable speed.
